Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to make a submission to this journal. All submissions will be assessed by an editor to determine whether they meet the aims and scope of this journal. Those considered to be a good fit will be sent for peer review before determining whether they will be accepted or rejected.

Before making a submission, authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material included with the submission, such as photos, documents and datasets. All authors identified on the submission must consent to be identified as an author. Where appropriate, research should be approved by an appropriate ethics committee in accordance with the legal requirements of the study's country.

An editor may desk reject a submission if it does not meet minimum standards of quality. Before submitting, please ensure that the study design and research argument are structured and articulated properly. The title should be concise and the abstract should be able to stand on its own. This will increase the likelihood of reviewers agreeing to review the paper. When you're satisfied that your submission meets this standard, please follow the checklist below to prepare your submission.

  1. Authors Guidelines

1.1 Scope and Topics:
IRAFEM welcomes original research articles, reviews, and case studies in the fields of applied finance, economics, and management. Manuscripts should align with the journal’s focus on empirical and theoretical contributions.

1.2 Submission Format:

  • Manuscripts must be written in English or French and should follow APA referencing style.
  • The document should be submitted in Microsoft Word (.docx) or LaTeX format.
  • Papers should not exceed 8,000 words, including references, tables, and appendices.
  • The first page must include the title, authors’ names, affiliations, and corresponding author’s contact details.

1.3 Structure of the Manuscript:

  • Title Page: Title, author(s), affiliation(s), and contact details.
  • Abstract: 150–250 words summarizing the objectives, methodology, results, and implications.
  • Keywords: 4–6 keywords.
  • Introduction: Background, problem statement, research objectives, and significance.
  • Methodology: Data, models, and methods used.
  • Results and Discussion: Findings and their implications.
  • Conclusion: Summary, contributions, limitations, and future research directions.
  • References: APA 7th edition style.

1.4 Figures, Tables, and Equations:

  • All figures and tables must be numbered and titled clearly.
  • Equations should be numbered consecutively.

1.5 Plagiarism Policy:

  • Manuscripts must be original and not under review elsewhere.
  • A similarity check (e.g., Turnitin) will be conducted. 
  1. Article Processing Charges (APC)

APC details will be communicated to authors upon manuscript acceptance. Waivers and discounts may be available for authors from developing countries.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.
